Course Description: This class is designed for beginners who are new to lampworking. In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of lampworking, including equipment and safety, torch use, and glass shaping. Students will learn how to make basic glass shapes such as beads and marbles, as well as basic color application techniques. They will gain experience working with different types of glass and learn how to control the flame and glass rods. By the end of the class, students will have a basic understanding of lampworking and be able to create simple glass pieces on their own.
